I drive nights for Uber.
I've heard a lot of opinions.
Some think he's the worst guy ever,
and some think he's the second coming.
I don't pretend to know who he is,
never met him,
and I don't have the patience
to sift through the media spit fest.

What I know is he makes me feel like
I have to choose a side
and despise those I don't even know.
It cuts me the wrong way
to be pushed to fear and hate
my kindred Americans.
He's making it tense,
and I could really use some calm.
